"Border Goes Clash" juxtaposes three artists’ interpretations of the experience encountered by growing in a region influenced by the confrontation of strong visual and social elements. The San Antonio and South Texas-based artists examine the meaning of border-impregnated issues through apparently mismatched pieces that, nonetheless, generate blunt imageries that dissolve the stereotypical vision of this territory and focus its attention in provoking a dialogue through concepts such as identity, memory, and social boundaries.
